L'Albergo Poggio Bertino is a country hotel, only three kilometres from the thermal Resort of Saturnia and close-by the Cascade of Gorello.The inspiration for its construction was an initiative of Maurizio which attracted the support of an Architetect friend in the realisation of a structure combining the fine standards of confort and hospitality, whilst maintaining at the same time, a certain sobriety.
The hotel rooms look out on the wide Maremman panorama, the medieval town of Montemerano and the ancient etruscan city of Saturnia. All are equipped with satellite TV , including options from SKY, refrigerator bar, security safe and the conforts of central heating and radiant-air cooling.

From Podere Poggio Bertino, led by an expert tour guide-by way of the ancient customs routes, you can reach the towns of Montemerano, Saturnia, Poderi di Montemerano, Manciano and other enchanting and unknown places, that few people could find alone in addition, we advise our guests on itineraries featuring food and wine, archeological and religious sites, to discover all the marvels of inland Maremma.
Breakfast is served in the communal hall or surrounding park where you may enjoi local products including ricotta cheese, jam, honey, home made cakes and biscuits. On request you can have breakfast with bacon and eggs, salamis, ham, cheese, traditional bruschetta with our olive oil and a glass of red wine.
Your host Maurizio speaks fluent English and Valy speaks Rumanian.
